We provide the family with a yacht called El Ultimo Adios 
("The Last Goodbye") to carry out our burials at sea. The yacht is 9 metres long and 3 metres in breadth and she has got excellent characteristics for this ceremony.

A ceremony like this one requires solemnity and privacy. The family has to feel comfortable and, more important, far from curious people.

How do we carry out this service?

First of all, the sea has to be calm and there must be good weather conditions, it must not be windy. If weather conditions are bad, we will reschedule the scattering.
The yacht is very stable. She is propelled by two silent and powerful petrol engines that do not give off fumes or smoke inside the yacht, which is good for those people who suffer from seasickness.
We do not move away from the shore, since it is not necessary. We sail to a maximum of 6 nautical miles off shore.
Time from departure to return to the harbour is approximately two hours.
The ashes will be scattered by a member of the family or by the crew if the family wishes so.
The maximum number of people who can get on board is six. In very special cases, if there are not very young or very old people in those present, we can carry up to seven people.

How much do we charge for this service?

We do not want to take any profit by offering this service. We charge 250,00 €, which is the cost price for the maintenance of the yacht, petrol, cleaning, etc.
What should people wear?

It is compulsory to wear flat shoes with non-skid soles or light coloured trainers with rubber soles.

We are a group of people who have noticed that there is very little information on this subject. There are many families who decide to scatter their loved one's ashes at sea and have lots of difficulties to do so because they do not find the necessary means to do it.

Where are we?

This innovatory burial at sea is located in "Costa Daurada" (the coast near Tarragona, in Spain). Our port of departure is 30 minutes from Barcelona.
